Campuhan Ridge Walk

The view of Campuhan Ridge Walk in Bali is now a popular tourist destination among tourists. The location is hidden, making this place a favorite location, especially for a moment feel the silence, away from the frenetic atmosphere of urban. Campuhan Hill not only offers beautiful scenery. In the Campuhan area of Ubud there is a temple called Pura Gunung Lebah, some mention this area as Bukit Gunung Lebah. The hill is flanked by two tributaries to form lush green valleys by tropical trees. The weed grass also grows very well so that throughout the eyes it looks just a refreshing green herb. In the distance there is a shady tree blowing with the wind with a beautiful rice paddy field. On the other hand, hotel buildings on the hillside are increasingly adding unique natural painting created.

Good to know before you go hike at Campuhan Ridge Walk
~ It is good to come in the morning because when morning air is still very fresh with warm sun. In the afternoons you can enjoy the view of the sunset that romantic atmosphere. Do not come during the day if you do not want to be exposed to the heat of the sun in the absence of shelter. if do, put on sunscreen before going
~ Campuhan Hill is a nature trail, so there are insects, flying bugs, It’ll be good to put on insect repellent before going.
~ Bring a bottle of water to rehydrate if you don’t intend to stop for drinks.
~ The hike is unsheltered the whole way, so you’re subject to the weather’s elements be it sun or rain.
~ The main walk is mostly paved road, so I don’t see any problem if kids were to hike too.
~ This place is open to public – there’s no entrance fees or anything.


You can continuing north along the ridge the tall grass transforms into the paddies of the small village of Bangkiang Sidem. How to get there
It takes about 1 hour drive if you depart from Denpasar. Arriving in downtown Ubud, drive west to the Warwick Ibah Hotel. Arriving at Warwick Ibah hotel, turn left towards the derivative way until it reaches the front of the school. You can park the vehicle in the schoolyard then walk about 10 meters. The access road to Campuhan Hill is on the right side of the temple. You can trekking by bicycle or on foot, just as fun.
